Job Description

We are looking for a high-impact, business-oriented HR Business Partner to join our manufacturing site in LVIV. This role is a core member of the site leadership team and is accountable for shaping and driving the people and organisational agenda to enable sustainable business performance, operational excellence, and workforce stability.

The HR Business Partner acts as a true co-pilot to the Plant Director and production leadership, owning the local HR strategy and ensuring that people, capability and organisational design directly support operational and productivity goals of the site.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to production leadership, driving organisational effectiveness, workforce productivity and operational excellence (MOS) across the site.
  • Lead performance management, capability development and leadership effectiveness of line managers, ensuring strong accountability and execution culture.
  • Own employee relations strategy for the site, proactively managing complex cases and ensuring a stable and constructive labour environment.
  • Lead local HR agenda in partnership with Centres of Expertise (C&B, Talent, L&D), ensuring effective deployment and adaptation of global HR programs to business needs.
  • Own talent management, succession planning and workforce capability development for critical roles within the manufacturing site.
  • Ensure compliance with labour law and internal HR policies.
  • Own HR analytics for the site, analysing key metrics (turnover, absenteeism, engagement) and translating insights into concrete business actions.
  • Lead communication and culture-building initiatives across the site, strengthening engagement, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments.
  • Proven track record as HR Business Partner or HR Manager with full ownership of a business unit, function, or site (1+ years).
  • Understanding of business processes and willingness to contribute to operational and organisational results through HR initiatives.
  • Solid knowledge of Ukrainian labour legislation and employee relations management
  • Good influencing, stakeholder management and decision-making skills at the leadership level
  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of English (required).
  • High level of ownership, resilience and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
